John Lewis Advert

I'm loving this TV advert, the different eras, clothing and expressions comes together beautifully.

Meadham Kirchhoff

The delectable Meadham Kirchhoff collection, as snapped by the wonderfully talented Shini at Park and Cube, with "flowers stuffed under the peplum, stamped-wafer fabric, ribbons atop ribbons, bead-crusted nails… it’s like they stood a cherubim-haired doll on a rotating stool and constructed each look. Another MK specialty, the walk & performance – the music was a sweet tinkling melody of a merry-go-round, which suited the round Topshop catwalk space rather perfectly, but instead of doing a circle, the girls weaved in and out of the decorated partitions picking up bits of flowers and then dropping them halfway down the catwalk." Uber creative, I have to say.

Have a Frenchy day!

Summer Loving

Summer is approaching fast and so to are the new swimwear styles hitting the stores. Rather than the bikini being the swimwear of choice this summer it looks like the one piece is a must have in the 2013 summer wardrobe.

Rollie, a youthful nation of summer lovin' and colourful treads are now on my radar. I'm loving the emerging character that is Australian street wear. Melbourne photographer Sally Goodall took these awesome shots, that make me want to frolic in the sun, listen to the Rubens new album on loud and sip lemonade from a stripey straw.

About You

XXYYXX, could you do it better? The slow smoke, drowsy light and pictography put me in mind of deeo summertime afternoons, with nothing to do but dream of being a rebel.

I Met You

Anna Lunoe and Flume's "I Met You" is a visual heaven. Forests, gypsy hair, summer lovin'... too good!

MBFF

Firstly I would like to apologise for the delay on this post as I have been tied up with uni and the depression that follows friends cancelling dinners at the last minute. Last Wednesday I went to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in the lovely city of Brisbane with a friend and it was an amazing experience. There were some really incredible collections from up and coming talent from across the country who have just launched their careers in our presence. The photo quality is poor as the following were sneaky iphone shots but here you go.

The designer at the bottom right of the above photograph was the winner and below is a random instagram photo of them.
