For the purpose of introducing myself I think confused is a good descriptor. I am constantly in an internal struggle of to buy and live with guilt and pretty things… or save and possibly do something grander? Grunge or sophisticated fashion? Go for a jog or eat chocolate in bed with magazines? Anticipating the end of the university semester with wonderful plans in mind and then being bored for 6 weeks. I am certain about some things however: I love polaroids, Hendrix, road trips, Yen, Oyster and Frankie, modern history, winter, Kate Moss and Starbucks green tea frappuccino.

I spend a lot of time stalking the online fashion world, especially street-styles and have a keen interest in modern history and politics which I major in at university. As one of the three contributors to this blog I hope for these things to seep through and be of interest to you all.

I sit on my bed and am swamped with crocheted cushions. My side table is an old brown suitcase placed on its side, which holds the leather-bound treasures (books) I have collected over the years. Amongst these musty books is a frosty pink teacup and saucer, that contains a strong herbal tea. My room is illuminated by a chandelier and my walls filled with cameos, pencilled sketches, birdcages, paintings and white-rose fairy lights. I would never say my room was tidy nor would I say it was a mess. It is more of an organised clutter. I am Little Miss Bookworm.

I am one of the contributors to this blog and have great passions for food, film, literature and art. As I stumble through my Journalism/Arts university degree I hope to share with you only the best of my organised clutter.
